Baker County is soliciting project proposals for Elderly and Disabled Special Transportation Fund Grant (STF) FY 2021-2023. STF formula funds do not require any local match, and may be used for any purpose directly related to transportation services, including, but not limited to, transit operations, capital equipment, planning, travel training and other transit-related purposes.
STF funds may be used for the purpose of financing and improving transportation programs and services for seniors and individuals with disabilities, including transit operations, capital equipment, planning, travel training and other transit-related purposes. Eligible project activities include maintenance of existing transportation programs and services for the target population, expansion of such services, creation of new services, and planning and development of services for those not currently served.
Baker County will prioritize services for the elderly and disabled applications as follows:
1) Medical/Mental Health Transport
2) Home to Workplace Transport
3) Demand/Response
4) Shopping

Proposals must follow all protocols in the STF Guidance document.
Project proposals are due no later than 4:00 p.m. March 24, 2021. Submit proposals via the on-line application process.
