Baker County is seeking volunteers to serve on the Ambulance Service Area Advisory Committee. The principle function of the committee shall be to monitor the EMS system within Baker County in an advisory role to the Board of Commissioners. The Committee shall aid in the process of finding solutions to EMS issues. The Committee shall meet annually, or as required during a year. The Committee should be represented by those that can represent the following: Emergency Room Physician (An EMS Medical Director/Physician Advisory), Health Department Representative, Emergency medical care providers (Including an EMT and/or Paramedics), Air Ambulance, Fire Service, Law Enforcement, Search and Rescue, Dispatch Center, the public. Interested individuals must submit a volunteer form to the Commissioners’ Office by 5:00 p.m. on February 24, 2023. Forms can be found at www.bakercounty.org/commissioners.
