Baker County Launches Opioid Response Grant Program to Support Local Solutions

Baker City, OR – The Baker County Board of Commissioners has announced the launch of the Baker County Opioid Response Grant Program which will distribute funds from Oregon’s opioid settlement agreements to local organizations to help combat the local opioid crisis.

The new grant program supports community-based solutions to prevent opioid misuse, expand access to treatment and recovery, and strengthen harm reductions efforts across Baker County.

“Baker County has been deeply impacted by the opioid epidemic.  These funds allow us to support innovative and local solutions that address real needs,” said Commissioner Michelle Kaseberg. 

Eligible applicants include local governments, health providers, nonprofit organizations, and community groups.  Grant awards will range from $1,000 - $25,000.  Applications  are due November 25, 2025.
