Deadline Approaching for 2nd Round of Baker County Opioid Settlement Grant Applications

Baker City, OR – The deadline to apply for the Baker County Opioid Response Grant Program is approaching at the end of March.
The grant program distributes funds received through Oregon’s opioid settlement agreements to support local efforts aimed at addressing the opioid crisis in Baker County. Funding is available for projects focused on any of the following priority areas:

☐ Medication-Assisted Treatment
☐ Naloxone Distribution and Training
☐ Sharps Disposal Sites and Harm Reduction Services
☐ Drug Take-Back Program
☐ Peer Support and Recovery Housing
☐ Prevention Programs in Schools and Communities
☐ Workforce Training for Substance Use Disorder Treatment
☐ Criminal Justice Diversion Programs
☐ Housing and Wraparound Services for Individuals with Opioid Use Disorder

Eligible applicants include local governments, healthcare providers, nonprofit organizations, and community groups serving Baker County residents. Grant awards range from $1,000 to $25,000.

Applications must be submitted by March 31, 2026.
