The Baker County Health Department is announcing a change to its regular office hours, effective September 14, 2026.

The new schedule is designed to make it easier for community members to access Health Department services by providing an earlier morning block before the traditional workday, as well as access during the midday period.

New Hours Effective September 14, 2026

Monday–Thursday
7:30 AM–12:00 PM
12:00 PM–12:30 PM — Closed for Lunch
12:30 PM–5:00 PM

Friday
8:00 AM–12:00 PM

The current office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM–12:00 PM and 1:00 PM–5:00 PM, with the office closed from 12:00 PM–1:00 PM for lunch.

The change comes in response to feedback from community members who have expressed a need for more convenient times to access services. The new schedule will provide an earlier morning option for those who need to visit before work, as well as a midday option for community members who may be available during their lunch period.

The Baker County Health Department appreciates the feedback and support of the community and looks forward to continuing to provide accessible public health services to Baker County residents.
