NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING 

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held on proposed Ordinance No. 2026-02, an Ordinance regulating burning outside city limits and civil penalties for violations.  A draft copy of the Ordinance can be found on the County website www.bakercountyor.gov under the "What's New" tab. The Baker County Board of Commissioners will hold public hearings of the Ordinances on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 and on Wednesday April 15, 2026 during the commission sessions held at 9:00 a.m. in the Commissioners Chambers of the Baker County Courthouse, located at 1995 Third Street, Baker City, Oregon 97814.
