Transportation Advisory Committee Members Needed
PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT From: Baker County Contact: Doni Bruland, ODOT Grant Administrator, 541-524-7480, dbruland@bakercounty.org Re: Transportation Advisory Committee Members Needed Baker County is asking for volunteers to serve as members of the Transportation Advisory Committee. Committee members must be knowledgeable about the public transportation needs of residents or employees. The County is looking for members of, or representatives from one of the following: employers, public health, social and human service providers, transit users, transit users who depend on public transit for accomplishing daily activities, individuals age 65 or older, people with disabilities, low-income individuals, social equity advocates, and educational institutions. The Transportation Advisory Committee is responsible for advising and assisting the County in carrying out the purposes of the Statewide Transportation Improvement Fund grant program. Funds come from payroll deductions. The Committee will only meet a few times a year to review grant proposals and reviewing project progress.
